ATTICA, Athens. Circa 165-42 BC. AR Tetradrachm (31mm, 16.09 g, 12h). New Style coinage. Herakleides, Eukles-, and Askle-, magistrates. Struck 106/5 BC. Helmeted head of Athena Parthenos right / Owl standing right on amphora, head facing; magistrates’ names in fields; in right field, winged Tyche standing left, holding uncertain object over amphora and cradling cornucopia; B on amphora, EO below; all within wreath. Thompson 750a (same obv. die); HGC 4, 1602. VF.
