RIC-7; Depeyrot-55/1. Obverse: Helmeted pearl-diademed cuirassed bust facing, holding spear over right shoulder, shield adorned with horseman riding down enemy on left; Reverse: Helmeted Constantinopolis seated facing, head right, holding scepter in right hand, Victory on globe in left, right foot on prow, “CONOB” in exergue. A bright, richly golden Solidus with the noted flaws rather inconsequential.
