Ancient Roman Large Gold Earrings Ca. 2nd century B.C. – 2nd century A.D. Size 3 inches length. Weight 17.92 grams. Large Very ornate, hammered gold over earrings consisting of two tiered and intricate bodies, with loop suspensions and granulation decoration. Minor losses, mostly complete. Provenance: Ex Connecticut collection, acquired at Bonhams, prior to 2008.
