TITUS AS CAESAR, 69-79 C.E. AR Denarius (3.12 gms), Antioch Mint, 72-73 C.E. NGC VF, Strike: 5/5 Surface: 3/5. Marks.
RIC-1562 (Vespasian); RSC-392; Hendin-6522. Obverse: Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Titan right; Reverse: Palm tree; to left, Titus standing rightwards, resting left foot on helmet and holding spear in right hand, parazonium in left; to right, Judaea in mourning seated right. Despite some marks, a pleasing example of a less common type from Titus as Caesar, offering good antiquated patina.
