SCYTHIA. Geto-Dacians. Coson (ca. after 54 BC). AV stater (19mm, 8.58 gm, 12h). NGC Choice AU 5/5 – 4/5. Sarmatia, Olbia. KOΣΩN, Roman consul (L. Junius Brutus) walking left, accompanied by two lictors fore and aft, ΟΛΒ monogram in left field / Eagle standing left on scepter, with spread wings, clutching laurel wreath in right talons; pellet below raised talon. RPC I 1701a. Surfaces that shimmer with a lustrous sheen.
