The inscriptions IC-XC (barred) are present across the fields, and the design is enclosed within a double border.
Reverse:
- Design: Bust of Michael VII Ducas facing forward, bearded and wearing a crown surmounted by a cross with pendilia and a loros. Michael VII holds a labarum (a Christian standard) in his right hand and a globus cruciger in his left. The inscription +MIX-AHΛ-RACIA O Δ surrounds the bust, with a double border framing the design.
