JUDAEA. Bar Kochba Revolt, 132-135 C.E. AR Zuz (Denarius) (3.64 gms), Jerusalem Mint, Undated, attributed to year 3 (134/5 C.E.). NGC AU, Strike: 5/5 Surface: 3/5. Overstruck, Brushed.
Mildenberg-187 (O22/R121); Meshorer-277; Hendin-6458. Obverse: Grape bunch; Reverse: Two upright trumpets. Somewhat weaker in strike upon the obverse, this lightly circulated example offers a stronger aspect to the reverse, with some scattered glints of the undertype visible, though not enough to determine a specific imperial personage.
