Divus Vespasian, died 79. AR Denarius (17 mm, 3.20 g, 6 h), Struck under Titus, Rome, 80-81. DIVVS AVGVSTVS VESPASIANVS Laureate head of Vespasian to right. Rev. E-X Shield set upon the base of a column topped by urn, presumably containing the ashes of Vespasian; in right and left fields, laurels. BMC 125 Cohen 149. RIC II.1 359. NGC Very Fine.
