- Legend: D N THEODOSIVS • P • F • AVG (Dominus Noster Theodosius Pius Felix Augustus)
Reverse:
- Design: Constantinopolis seated left, holding a globus cruciger and sceptre, with her foot on a prow; a shield by the throne and a star in the left field.
- Legend: IMP XXXXII COS XVII • P • P (Imperator 42nd time, Consul 17th time, Pater Patriae)
- Exergue: COMOB (indicating the Constantinople mint)
Condition:
- Surface: Residually lustrous with slight wear at higher points, but mostly detailed.
