Obverse:
- Design: Rosette-diademed, draped, and cuirassed bust of Valentinian III facing right. The small bust showcases intricate details and a high level of craftsmanship.
- Condition: NGC Ch AU, with a sharp strike and well-preserved features despite a minor flan flaw.
Reverse:
- Design: Valentinian III standing facing, with his right foot on the head of a human-headed coiled serpent. He holds a long cross and victoriola. The mintmark R – V and COMOB are noted in the exergue.
- Condition: Extremely lustrous with brilliant surfaces. The strike is sharp and the centering is charming, presenting the design with high clarity.
