PHOENICIA, Sidon. temp. Ba`alšillem (Sakton) I-Ba’ana. Circa 425-401 BC. AR Dishekel (28mm, 27.44 g, 11h). Phoenician galley left before city wall with five towers; [BM (in Phoenician) above], two lions standing outward in exergue / King of Persia and driver in chariot drawn by two horses galloping left; below, incuse goat running left; all within dotted circle within incuse circle. E&E-S Group III.1.f, 210–2 (D8/R14); HGC 10, 232 (Ba’na’). Toned, rough surfaces, cleaning marks and smoothing, die break on obverse. Good Fine.
